This is how it all started.
I've been taking photos since I was a child. I took my first photography classes in high school, developing my own film in the darkroom. I was well versed in the "point-and-shoot" of the digital world, I finally got my hands on a DSLR and had friends asking for family portraits. Taking portraits made me so happy, getting friends to see how beautiful I see them every day through a picture.
Spring Term 2020 (the beginning of the COVID pandemic) I could tell it was going to be a stressful time because I just finished Epidemiology. So I took a fun class through Linn-Benton Community College, Digital Photography with Mr. Douglas. It was life changing. I went in thinking I was "ok" and came out believing in my work. I was encouraged to continue by my instructor and friends. I invested in myself and in higher quality equipment. My education journey shifted to photojournalism, and now I find myself in the role of Photo Editor at the LBCC newspaper The Commuter.
I will always strive to do better and deliver the best quality I can in everything I do. I am a student. I am a photographer. I am a business owner. I am a mother. I am a daughter. I am a sister. I am a friend.
When you book your portraits session with me, I hope you feel at ease. A low stress session is the best way to capture your beauty. Feeling your best with me on your side is what I strive for. If you have any questions, I am happy to hear you and answer honestly. I appreciate you from the depths of my heart for your interest and support.
*If you too are a photographer please message me your Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, & LinkedIn. I would love to follow and support your art and hard work.
